Hello

We want to replicate data from SQL Server 2008 R2 to Oracle 11g R2

Could you please let me know if "Standard Edition" of the SQL Server 2008 R2 supports the Golden gate replication

I googled and found that "only Enterprise edition supports golden gate replication" as "Standard Edition" does not have "Capture Functionality"

Thanks and Regards
Chetan

I think that is correct: if you don't have EE, you can't use GoldenGate because it uses Streams technology for the capture. And you can't use Streams with SE.

You can do all the work on the SQL Server side by using the SQL Server Distributor, or do the work on the Oracle side by using heterogeneous services to run queries through a database link.
