hi experts

I am developing a script for gl_interface and i dont have any idea about interfacing .. can any one help me with basic simple script.
1- what are the mandeory columns
2- not null columsn
3- do-not write column


please give me idea , any help any suggusions or any reference, note will be higly appriciated.
